A Motorcycle Technician repairs, services, overhauls, inspects and tests motorcycles for faults and road worthiness. Specifically, a Motorcycle Technician:

• performs diagnosis and repairs motorcycle systems, including: engines and drive lines; fuel systems; charging, starting, ignition, lighting and other electrical systems; cooling systems; chassis and steering systems; front and rear suspensions; braking and anti-lock systems; tires and wheels; sidecars and trikes (three-wheeled motorcycles)
• prepares motorcycles for delivery
• performs safety inspections
• performs scheduled maintenance

An Alignment and Brakes Technician inspects, diagnoses and repairs electrical and electronic controls, suspension systems and frames, braking systems, tires, wheels, rims, hubs and axles, and alignment. Specifically, an Alignment and Brakes Technician inspects, diagnoses and repairs:

• suspension systems and frames
• braking systems
• tires, wheels, rims, hubs and axles
• alignment

An Auto Body and Collision Damage Repairer repairs and/or replaces frame and structural components, mechanical, interior and electrical components, plastic and composite panels and sheet metal panels. Specifically, an Auto Body and Collision Damage Repairer:

• repairs, reshapes, and refits body panels
• welds breaks in body panels
• removes or replaces electrical, electronic components
• repairs, removes or replaces wiring harnesses, air conditioning systems and mechanical components
• straightens and aligns frames and unibody assemblies
• removes, replaces, or adjusts steering and suspension components
• aligns wheels

An Auto Body Repairer repairs the body of motor vehicles, motor coaches, trucks or truck-trailers, including preparing vehicle for refinishing and repairing vehicle bodies and components. Specifically, an Auto Body Repairer:

• repairs, reshapes, and refits body panels
• welds breaks in body panels
• shrinks and stretches metal panels
• repairs dents and other surface damage

An Automotive Electronic Accessory Technician:

• Installs or repairs electronic accessories in motor vehicles and heavy trucks

A Fuel and Electrical Systems Technician engages in the repair and maintenance of motor vehicles by:

• Diagnosing faults in, installing, repairing and removing, ignition and charging and starting systems, panel instruments, wiring, and other electrical and electronic systems and equipment
• Diagnosing faults in, repairing and adjusting fuel systems, engine management systems and emission control systems
• Diagnosing faults in, installing, inspecting, maintaining and removing air-conditioning and refrigeration and heating systems
